Last week we finished the ceiling in the kitchen, and this past weekend we put down the floors in our bedrooms and framed up the future soundproof wall between them and also framed up our closets. The floors are 3/4" pre-finished Brazilian Cherry hardwood, and look better than I could have ever dreamed of.

I like how I've gotten 84085405034503 emails today from myspace for comments for me to approve that are more than likely "Happy Birthday" comments, and I can't log in to the fucker to check them and have been trying since 6am. I think people who ask about recording or the studio in general then act surprised when I tell them that we haven't even started on the actual studio yet and that it will probably be another year until we're ready don't realize how much work Daniel and I are having to do. The pace is starting to pick up with the remodeling of the church. The kitchen cabinets were delivered last Wednesday, and we'll be installing them soon. Right now they're just set up in the future live room of the studio:
