I nearly didn't read this because I thought it would be a bit too heavy but I am so glad it did because you made it clear that this was consensual submission and that D needed this release. Therefore it was easy to enjoy the wonderful descriptive writing and sensual passages. It is really fascinating to try to understand what a sub gets from this experience and I thought you were extremely successful in describing David's need to escape in this way.
It is often easier to understand a Dom's craving for power but I applaud your amazing ability to tell this from David's POV.

And of course it was scorchingly hot. :)
