Poll Lament for a Daemon's Soul - A DetailCan't say why I want to know, just that at this point I could throw the dice either way. End game's still Faberry, but I wanted to get folk's opinions because I'm honestly undecided. The scenes I have in mind could work either way. ;p ( Read more... )

This felt like Sophie's choice! I shutter to think of either of those pairings in an otherwise amazing Faberry fic, but I went decidedly with the lesser of two enormous evils.

Just to reassure, endgame is very very much still Faberry.

I just have some scenes coming up that can have these flavors, and either way works, so I figured to offer to take it whichever way is more popular. End result of these "pairings" is friendship, if that helps.

Just curious though, which was the lesser of two evils? XD

Edit: It's been pointed out that I should rephrase that last question. What I mean is why do you think your pick is the lesser evil of the two. Should not be trying to talk/write while still half-awake I guess. XD

Well, my pick was Pezberry & Quitt because I can see both of those pairings happen in a believable manner and end on (I guess) a friendly note, whereas Quinn and Santana are both very much alpha females and, in my opinion, would fight for control in that relationship until they end up destroying each other. I also don't see Brittberry working either because Rachel needs to be in a relationship with someone who has a very strong personality because otherwise she could, literally, smother them to death ;) She needs someone who challenges her, stands up for her, tells her when she's being an overbearing idiot and calms her/the beast with a single touch. So far in this story, I haven't seen those qualities in Brittany.

That said, I adore this story and I trust you completely when it comes to endgame! :D

Well, in this story you won't see anything work for Britt or San cause it's endgame Faberry. But I'm reasonably certain I could write a piece that makes Pezberry or Brittberry believable, same with Quitt or Quintana. Just a matter of how you roll it out. This story has been building for Faberry, so nothing else will really work.

But I suppose I have implied subtle Pezberry moments previously.

I went with Pezberry (even though it literally makes me shudder) and Quitt.

Mostly because I agree what tinnakaren said. I don't think Britt could handle this Rachel all too well.

I'm looking forward to where you takes things from here! :)

I have to say that I think Pezberry would motivate Quinn to go after Rachel. Santana's got some of the best (and worst) elements of Quinn's personality, including her dominating leadership traits, so if Quinn saw what she perceived as Rachel warming up to Santana that might add to the already hormonal pregnant girl.

By the same token, seeing Britt even pretend to have interest in Quinn would be liking throwing fuel on Santana's rage and possessiveness of Brittany.

(I've been thinking about this poll question of yours on and off tonight, and since I am currently reading chapter 28 and kinda figured where your poll question might be going I figured I'd finally answer).

Well, considering C28 is up and where I was going with this poll is probably not evident, I can say that Britt showing interest in Quinn won't affect Brittana in the slightest. They're both fully aware of what's going on.

Voted for Pezberry and Quitt because I do like them both, but now that I think about it, since Faberry is endgame, I should have probably voted for Pieberry/Quintana because I wouldn't be as sad if they didn't work out. Hahaha. So many feeeelings.

I bet reading the reaction of either of the two to Rachel would be an interesting read.
