Hey guys, TLE is in fully fledged director mode right now!!! So, collecting a little bit at a time, I finally got up enough enthusiasm to put together my music video for Coldplay's Life in Technicolor. It's possible I'll get shut down at some point (youtube can detect if you're using copyrighted songs now), I don't know if Coldplay is on their hit

YAY!!!!!!!!! Wow, I didn't expect it to be out for a while~ That was so nice! The whole transition thing from black and white to color worked well, and of course the theme with opening eyes was awesome. The only one thing is, you had a lot of shots in the same place, that one field. Maybe if you have more time, you could take a few more random shots of totally random things and edit them in. By random, I just mean . . . well, take the shot of the flying bird for example. It was a nice interlude. Maybe a few more shots like that? Oh, but it was awesome!

Heh heh . . . I notice your mood is "hot". Not hot as in sexy, I suppose, because I'm feeling awfully hot, too - it's night, and it's like 80 degrees in my house. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT!?!?

Glad you liked it - those shots that you noticed were at my school's overnight, since it was the only time I could get people together to do this. I think right now I like it like this, actually, because it staggers each of the new sorts of clips (i.e. going from fab4 to hillsidians, b&w to color, eyes to wide shots) and builds up to the climax. Thanks for the comment, though, I'll think about it.

I KNOW (although I am pretty sexy, y'know ;-) ). Both the other kids in my riding lesson today cancelled, so I had it all to myself - which was nice, the instructor gave me sort of an exam lesson. She told me "ok, you're at a horse show, you're going in the ring tomorrow and you have to get Sierra ready, but your trainer didn't show up" and had me go through the lesson myself. It was a lot of fun, but a little nerve-wracking. The heat didn't help.

Luckily, the party is in the lower floors, so it's nice and cool.

haha, at my barn nobody cancelled, and we had a lesson that was pretty much all walking. We had to warm our horses up at the walk without the trainer's help, and then canter right away. It was good practice, I guess.

I like it a lot :D The transition from black and white to colour IS awesome and the song (which I... I've never heard before) is so cool. I love all the people running around the field, and the beginning sequence with everyone opening their eyes. I'm so impressed that you got so many people in on it.

I spotted you! Yay! This reminds me that I still haven't sent you that Harry Potter movie my family made. I haven't forgotten, though, it's just hard to bug my parents about it from the other end of the country.

Thanks so much! Most of the people (except for the four at the beginning) go to my school, and they're all used to my crazy-director antics. Actually, a lot of those shots were their ideas. After I filmed the running scene, I told everyone that if they had any other ideas they should tell me and I'd film it. Which meant I got a lot I couldn't use, but a bunch of really cool stuff as well.
