Irresistible is just awesome all around :) GA did such an amazing job with it.

I actually thought I should do a special picspam only on great Mulder/Scully hugs. But I couldn't do that many at once :) It's really frustrating though how many great M/S moments are hard to cap because they are all about the dialog (the whole "If this is iced tea, it could be love" one for example) or about the meaning/stucture of the whole episode.

I agree that the pilot in particular hasn't aged well. Though I think that that is at least partly because it's a pilot. Those are frequently a bit uneven.

I think what makes the iced tea scene so great is that when he says it she sort of stares at him for a moment in a sort of mesmerized way and then quickly looks into the bag almost like she too is hoping that it's iced tea, even though she should know what she bought.

DUDE. You don't know how much I was praying there was iced tea in that paper bag! I think that's one of my favourite X-Files moments in general - not just M/S - that and Mulder's I want to believe in Conduit:

X-Files was just full of really great character moments. When it was on, it was ON. *nods*

There are some minor episodes which I love crazily even when there is no major M&S action simply because I love the story and the reaction of the characters to the story so much.

Maybe once I have finished my M&S love spams I shall start doing episode love spams.
