I think I read the season 1 version has a tattoo. But if they don't advertise it then he probably doesn't have it.

No, Season 1 does NOT have a tattoo. They were very clear on that. Stupid clothes, cross-eyed Michael, but no tattoo.

Because the watchcap was apparently the key "Michael" accessory and not the tattoo. ;)
