Quilting day 5

I got to quilt for a couple hours today, though I don't feel like I got all that much accomplished. Flowers are so time consuming!

How did you dye the shoes? And did you paint the rubber bit? They look great!

And Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog is hysterical! I love it. And oh, captain, my captain is delish as usual. I should watch Castle more, but I just don't have time. Sigh.

I actually just painted the whole shoe. They're canvas, so I mixed in fabric medium with my acrylic paint. I painted the rubber, too, without the medium in there, but I'm worried it's not going to stay on that part. I might have to find some other solution...
