Mitt test

I want to make some mitts for 18th c stuff, so I'm taking old yarn and testing out ideas for patterns. This is test #1. The pattern is basically an alternating single v double crochet, with a few baubles and a couple double/chain rows thrown in. They were made flat, then stitched up the sides.

These are super cute - I have wanted mitts for a while, but don't know how to knit. (I know these are crocheted, but I want to learn to knit, so I'm saving it for my first project.)

The dancing at the CC gala is a big mix - there is usually a Virginia Reel thrown in, and the Time Warp opens the night. But other than that, anything goes from modern to the occasional waltz.
