**This rant was sparked by a discussion between two of my friends on facebook. I thought it would be rude to interrupt their conversation with my righteous indignation. So I thought I'd put it here for you all to see. : )**

Agree totally. Violence is wrong, not just violence against some people and not others.

I agree that the double standards in our society can seem quite innapropriate at times. While it is true that men are on average slightly larger and stronger than women, that does not mean that the man is always the aggressor and the woman always the victim, nor that women are always vulnerable and men can't be hurt.
