*shrugs* I prefer subs because I like to hear the original Japanese voices and I _do_ understand a little Japanese, so watching subs is a bit like... free language training for me (since I can't take normal Japanese classes right now), but that doesn't really say anything about my personality or intelligence. O_o It's just a preference and it doesn't make me a better fandom person or anything. O_o;;; So... yeah, I completely agree. You like dubs. You like dubs because you find them more enjoyable. What's wrong about that? -_-;;; I guess people just want to wank about _something_. Anything. -.-
I tend to like subs more, but I also prefer some dubs to subs. It depends on the series (or even who's doing a voice). It might be because I'm fascinated with the culture or just that I like the way they sound sometimes... I have no clue.
If I were ever to call someone dumb for liking dubs more (which I will not!), I'd be contradicting myself. I watch the most stupid-ass shows ever (a lot)! And I used to thrive on watching dubs in the past before the Internet had anything to choose from. Totally loved 'em too. Of course, there are people that also do the vice versa and bash sub-lovers if they're a dub-lover.
People should realize that there are bad VA's on -both- sides, and there's nothing we can do about it. (Unless we hijack the companies and force them pick someone else.)
