Fucking signed.

It is absolutely adorable that the kid knows that quote. I hope a very small child isn't watching that movie, but there are lots of other ways to pick up quotes like that. When I was three I was talking about my dad's penis and cursing out my My Little Ponies--little kids say odd things sometimes and that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the way they're being raised.

It is! I mean...I know little kids who say stuff they've just picked up that they don't - and shouldn't - know the context to. It's no big deal. I know I've said 'the first rule is don't talk about Fight Club' around my nieces and nephews (who range in age from 1 1/2 to 16). Among other out of context quotes, because I'll admit it, I speak in roughly half referential quotes. :D

I found it hilarious. It's something I can see my youngest nephew doing in a few years, and it's adorable!

I have never seen Fight Club and I knew the first rule!

. . . now that I think about it, I also know most of the plot, even though I have never seen the movie, read the book it's based on, or consciously heard any synopsis. How the hell did that happen?

What a cute kid! I think the people who are flipping out about it are definitely overreacting.

I also love how it is always the parents who are to blame. (If the kid even saw it, which I doubt) It could just as easily be the older sibling, grandparent, family member or babysitter's fault. I can't tell you how many times at work I have seen grandparents grab R rated movies for their grandchildren saying "just don't tell your mother/father I am letting you watch this."

That icon always makes me smile btw.
