So far, I've spent a majority of this break watching TV which is exactly how I like it. My Christmas? Doctor Who special, chatting with Annemari, and chocolate! Perfection for me. I hope everyone had a good time during the holidays/New Year's! I can't believe it's another year ( Read more... )

Just... YES to everything about Terriers. I adored how genuine and lived-in all the relationships felt. I watch a lot of shows that wind up getting canceled, but one hasn't broken my heart quite like that in awhile. :(

Yes, lived-in is such a good word for the relationships. I really wish more relationships were like the ones in Terriers.

I feel the same about canceled shows and I'm really sad about this one too. It so felt like one of those underrated but great shows that I could watch for years.

Oh and btw, because of your LOL Lost Girl posts I constantly think of Mary Louise Parker (combined with Olivia Thirlby) and Chris Martin when I see Bo/Dyson except you know, Chris Martin wishes he had that slammin body, haha.

What a pretty post!! I think you've finally convinced me to watch Lost Girl, I love kick ass heroines. I'm also interested in Downtown Abbey but I know it would probably be awhile before I actually watch it.

I hope you watch it! It's a fun enjoyable show. Yeah, Bo is pretty kick ass and snarky heroine. Her sidekick is awesome as well.

Yeah, that's exactly how I feel. I'm not in the mood for a period piece even though I want to be.

I'm glad to hear that you spend the majority of your break the way you prefer and that your Christmas was perfection. That does sound really lovely and I'm just glad that you're enjoying your break as you so deserve that!

It's indeed the worst to have to deal with a show ending. Getting attached to shows is the best thing indeed, but it's the worst when those shows end. So I'm sorry you had to deal with that when it comes to Terriers. It's a show I wanted to watch too but now I probably won't :( Lovely picspam though and I love reading what you wrote. The same goes for Lost Girl which I hope to start watching sometime soon. Such gorgeous colors!

Yeah, I managed to do some of my readings but otherwise, it's all been about TV for me these past weeks. I haven't done that in a while so I'm definitely enjoying it.

Oh man, I know that reluctance to get into a show because it's canceled. I didn't expect to get attached to Terriers so much but I did and now I'm so sad that it's no more.
