Not interested myself, but if any f-list people are interested, I've got some salvaged memory that will perk it up a bit, XP will be a painful experience with only 128M.

Depending on the cost, I might want a 512M DDR however-many-pins-laptop-memory-has SIMM.

I am fairly sure it has 1Gb of memory and I think it has an 80Gb disk drive. I used to run a lot of apps on it with no problems.

Were I to be looking for a s/h laptop, I would be very interested in knowing how much charge the battery held - replacing them is usually £50/60 or more. So if it is any good, put how long it will run on battery power in the info. If not, keep quiet :)

(Oh, and do XP licences expire??)

The battery doesn't hold for long (30 min), but new ones are about £25.
And yes, I didn't mention it in the listing. Oddly, no-one asked!

The licence was from Conflux's work, so it's an expired site licence.
The machine has been appropriately signed off as written off by them, it's not been misappropriated or anything!

I was going to give ciphergoth first dibs, but if you're interested I'll poke him into a response. Conflux seems to think it has more memory and disk space than the original spec so I'll check that.

I'd be happy to come visit you guys for a day out and deliver it.

If P wants it that's cool, but come and see us anyway. If P doesn't want it, then bring it along.

We're away the weekend after the weekend coming, for my sister's wedding. Apart from that we'll see you whenever you fancy a visit. (It's a fair drive though, with a quatlet.)

Love to. Does it have to be a weekend (feasible, probably)? And is it at all public-transportable to you?
