The Bacchae is awesome. A friend of mine did a production of it for his thesis project for college. It's one of the few theater theses I can actually recognize by name and recall seeing (I have a lot of friends in theater). You'll love it.

It's got Alan Cumming in it. As a god. So, playing himself then.

Also the music is by Tim Sutton who I was at college with. Nice chap, and talented. http://www.choiroftheyear.co.uk/Tim-Sutton.htm

eep, I'm not sure I could stand for 3 hours, and being short is a disadvantage, but considering prices jump from £5 to £23 for a half decent view I may just have to walk around a lot.

There's usually not many people and you can lean on the walls or on your arms on the stage. The seats are bloody uncomfortable anyway!

Are you OK with the 20th for Bacchae?

LSofH is half-pricable. The theatre it's moved to has the highest stage anywhere and towers above the front of the stalls = it's best to be about half way back or in the circle.

I'm seeing Cumming's bottom on Wednesday.

I'm tempted by the Globe, but I like to see the weather forecast first :)
