The one person who, with a single gaze, crushed my old, meaningless world, but at the same time, made me build one where they became its master. This was beautiful!
Poor Dominic! I told you before, these classical scenery really does wonders, when I read I imagine everything in a different way. It's just...I don't know, it gives the story so much more dynamism. :D I can't wait to show you the story I wrote! :D
Thank you, Princess Laura. :D That was one of my favourite parts as well!

Ah, I love "old" stories and I should write more, methinks. I'm glad you can picture it in your mind!
The one for your birthday. Well, it's a one-off, based on my dream :D The Merthur one :D I won't spoil anything for you....Who knows, maybe I'll get some more ideas and make it better. As for the Christmas story, I have plenty of ideas *starts smirking like Morgana*
Aww, thank you so much, Beth! <3 I tried to make that moment as something breathtaking, something that would explain Dom's fascination for Matt. Woeful, that is right. There are so few poets who actually had a happy life!
Mhmmmmmmmm. *hums* I like the language you're using, the way you phrase your words. (is that even a good statement? lol) It fits this story beautifully. <3
Ah, Stef! :D Your comment made me extremely happy. I was not really familiar with old English, but having read La Vita Nuova in English helped me a lot. Thank you! <3
On a pedantic note, though. This is not Old English. It's Middle English. Old English is stuff like Beowulf. You wouldn't be able to decipher that. :P Middle English is fun.
As the young Bellamy was coming down the stairs, I realised that from that moment, Amor would govern my soul completely, and I would be the most humble of its servants. I could not take my eyes off the graceful boy and vigilantly watched his every move, wondering how the Lord could do without one of his beauteous angels.
