aawwwwww, so simple and yet so sweet!! <3 I loved the beginning with them sunbathing, somewhere in Italy .. so nice.. and Matt chatting about a book he read.. typical of him! ;) .. and his doubt about memories or dreams.. Dom's initial denying.. and then.. awwww.. so nice, so perfect, so lovely!!

I'm kind of shocked about Dom's dad's reaction.. and what happened after that. But the most important thing it's the happy ending, so, thanks a lot for that!

hugs

*coughs* I was reading that book I mentioned in the AN and I remembered some images from my childhood - and I didn't know if they are true or not. :) I accidentally found my friend and she confirmed that they are real.

I'm glad you liked it! :) *hugs*

Hey, Brigi! Remember a few months ago I promised you I'd catch up with your stuff soon? So, I started this pleasant task! I can't promise you how long it'll take for me to read everything, but I'll do it bit by bit :) I just read this short story and aww, I loved this! <333

"Does this mean he was losing control over his mind?" come on Matt, don't be so melodramatic. Just because it hadn't happened, doesn't mean you're losing your mind. Could just be a persistent dream.

Oh and see, it did happen after all!

"Matt felt Dom licking off the tiny water drops on his back. He shivered with pleasure." Oh ... hot ...

But what a sad story :(. Glad they found each other again in the end.

Not very proud of this story, doesn't sound very realistic. :))

Ahh, i since i study psychology i was like "OMG it's about memory distortion". That really got me all excited. Haha, freud never made much positive impression on me so yeah...i was looking more for the distortion part rather than the repressed memories being finally expressed.
Anyways, no more psycho babble...
This was cute! :) i have to say the description of kisses got to me. <3 My reaction at the distortion part was like...

Ohhh uhhh I have no idea about the psychological part tbh. xD You'll have to tell me more. xD

Haha, glad it was enjoyable, let me know how cringeworthy it was on a scale from 1 to 10. :))

Uhhh well people who go under intense stress sometimes suffer memory distortion. Like i have read about a murder trail where the witness' memory was distorted because of the killing scene he saw. He everytime he would try to recall the scene but he wouldn't be able to recall just the killing happening. He would just remember the blood and his dead relative. So, yeah...my point is intense stress like post traumatic stress disorder can cause memory distortion like it happened with Dom in the story.

It wasn't cringeworthy...just the shift to what had happened in past was too quick. It was a little incompete...but anyways i'm always happy to read stories having elements of psychology. :D

I see, thank you! :) As I said, I didn't do any research, just read the novel.

Definitely, can't argue with that. The story is way too short to elaborate it. xD To be honest, these days all my short stories are about double in length. I hope that my writing has evolved since the six years I wrote this. :))
