Another girl that I don't know incredibly well yet, but I'll give it a shot.

1. I've known Renee a little bit longer than most of the rest of her crew due to two things: 1. It was hard to miss "Glitchy Tink" on myspace, what with her 1000 friends and all, and 2. my roommate was hanging out a lot with one of her best friends. Even though I've known her for a little while now, I feel like I'm just recently being let into her world. Renee is a musician's dream, I think. She truly enjoys going to shows, sings along, dances, and actually likes the music instead of judging bands based on their scene or band members, or whatever. Personally, she's the only person (that isn't basically required to) who has somewhat gone out of her way to compliment my solo stuff. She's friendly, always there with a hug, and is the person to ask if you want to know where the party is. I fear I may be a little too male and heterosexual to get the entire picture on Renee, but I'm slowly chipping away at it.

1. I'll try not to mention how our first conversation revolved around pee. I'll also try not to mention my first impression of you, when I gave your class a presentation about STDs, and I saw some purple-haired angsty girl that intimidated me. I also won't mention taking you to prom on my 18th birthday. Those stories have been run into the ground. Rita is pretty much the epitome of a cool girl. I've always felt as though she was more comfortable with who she is than any other girl her age. I'm sure she has insecurities like the rest of us, but at least to the outside observer, she is completely her own person. She likes what she likes, and if you have a problem with that, you can go fuck yourself. Based on her demeanor, the fact that she has had to overcome a lot of adversity, and the fact that she's just a great person to have around, I really feel like her and the aforementioned Roxy would be well-suited friends. I almost refuse to do this until you put your journal back on the air. But...fine.

1. Rachel is going to be your friend whether you like it or not. It's been amazing how fast she stormed into my household and hit it off with everyone. I mean, imagine you are 20 years old, you are coming over to the house of some guy you like which is scary enough as it is, but then you have to also deal with his 3 roommates that are 4-8 years older than you. If Rachel was intimidated by this in any way, she definitely didn't show it. My first impression was a mixed bag. It was obvious that she had a fun character for our TV show that had been lacking, but I was wondering what was beneath the surface of this southern-meets-wigger-accented, young, mod, snorts-when-she-laughs girl. I liked it, but it was somewhat overwhelming for a first meeting. Of course, I quickly got to know what was behind it, and grew to hate love it. 1. I've known Raf for like 10 years or something ridiculous now. He was the shy guy who had the daunting task of filling Gabe Dixon's shoes in the high school pep band when he came to my attention. I was best friends with Sam Smith at the time, and when Raf and him got pretty tight, I saw lots more of Raf around. I'll be honest, usually when the two of them were together, it caused a lot of eye rolling, but on the rare occassion that it was just me and Raf, I got the real deal and was much more able to relate to him. I began reading his journals long before he was aware of it (the blogspot days pre-diaryland and pre-lj) and saw a lot of things in him that I saw in myself...only I wouldn't dare divulge most of that kind of information to a viewing audience. When Raf moved back to Nashville, he was immediately back in the scene. Rarely would I go to a party and not see him. We've already played in 2 bands together in the short time he's been back. A friend told me he called me an asshole this summer, but luckily I don't give a shit
