I'm sitting here listening to the rain and staring at the window. Watching the drops hit each individual leaf on the trees... Ahhh... Rain... So peaceful. I was listening so intentively till I heard an awful noise. Cat's having sex somewhere in my backyard. It actually sounded like a human screaming becuase someone stabbed the person several times ( Read more... )

Hi there! I noticed that you are using a background image that was made especially for the All Things Kawaii site. Since this was not intended as something made for sharing, and you didn't ask permission to use it, my request is that you delete it and replace it with something else. I think the original creator of the graphic would be very disappointed to know that you just took it like this, as I'm sure you would if someone had done the same to your own images. I'll hold off on notifying her for the time being of course, and hope that we can resolve this on our own.

Sorry for posting this here, but you don't have an email address listed, so this was my only choice.

Thanks!

By the way... I am not stealing your bandwidth. It didn't load from your your computer. I saved it on my computer.

Oh, and now my live journal is boring and not fun at all. Aren't you nice?

I know this one wasn't stealing bandwidth, but the Sanrio image was doing that.

Removing an image like this isn't the end of the world. There are plenty of free, cute images available for you to use instead:

Most just ask that you link back to them and give them proper credit.

I have no idea what the original image looked like since it's gone now, but did it have a watermark on it? A link to your site? Any defining marks? I sure haven't seen any mention of such thing yetIf not, quit crying and do something mroe productive than trying to make young girls on the internet feel bad.

If you and other people want proper credit for something, it needs a watermark, signature, etc. Not having one causes people like yourself to go around and bully people on the internet over practically nothing. The only valid thing so far that you can say is that she was stealing bandwidth. Okay, then, I'll host the image for her and save you the trouble, mmkay? Go tag your images properly.

Listen, we've already resolved this issue. Don't try to rehash it, especially since you don't have all the facts, and drag it out any further.

Yeah, ripping holes in people and walking away really resolves everything, doesn't it?

I didn't rip holes in anyone. I tried to handle this as best possible, considering that there was no other way to contact her, and I even provided some resources for finding replacement images that are actually being offered for this purpose. You're acting like I was the one who started this, but technically your friend did by taking my image without permission or giving credit. On top of that, she posted to a community that I own with a post that was stealing someone else's bandwidth as well. Can you honestly tell me that you can steal someone else's stuff and expect them not to notice?!

This is my final reply to you. Thanks.

Wow, I have so much to say, but talking to a wall of bigotry and ignorance wouldn't do much. I'll feel free to take anything from your site that isn't tagged/watermarked properly, too. It's your dumb mistake not to understand that image rule, and I'll encourage everyone to exploit that until you yourself fix your own flaws. Credit yourself on an image, and there's no reason for anyone to mention anything. Free advertising. Such a simple bit of logic, but you blamed someone else instead. Good job, fool.

Notice how I didn't mention the image linking bit? Because you state that in your community rules( or was that added because of this retarded incident you instigated?). Don't bring up irrelevant material when your real beef is with someone stealing an image you admittedly didn't even make yourselfThough I'm sure someone as arrogant and mighty as yourself won't understand, but your understanding of theft and intellectual property are prude, selfish, and horribly misunderstood. Look in to the open source/freeware movement and break free ( ... )

Oh, please. This has nothing to do with capitalism or commercial use of things. One of your friends started incorrectly citing copyright/fair use stuff early on, so I only tried to clarify the legal aspects of that ( ... )

I haven't read this, and I don't plan to. Afterall, you already gave your final reply. *smirk* What an absurd person you are.

Hehe, not any more absurd than you sticking your fingers in your ears and saying "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" like this ;P

Excuse me for following your rules and getting in the last word that you didn't want. This is the second reply that isn't supposed to exist. Do you intend to contradict yourself even further?

First of all, how do you know I didn't get permission? Secondly, You have no authority to tell me to take it off since it's not yours to begin with! Therefore I don't know why you care. However, if you think it's important for you o tell on me, then go ahead. If they ask me to remove it I will be glad to! But please don't argue on my live journal! This post is ruined. Thank you.
