What a cool question. Bloc Party are very good live. You saw them do Sunday right? Oh so good. ♥ I can't pick either but I think all three times I've seen Joanna Newsom are the best ever. The first time I saw Joanna was the first time I hear Ys and it shook me to my core. The second time was just the very next day so it was nearly as amazing. The third time was last year seeing her Royal Albert Hall performance which was indescribable. The versions of her songs she played there have become the definitive ones in my mind. God just just hearing the climax of Monkey & Bear without that violin and those drums it just doesn't sound right. And Peach, Plum, Pear with a band and harp rather than simply harpsichord is heavenly.
It would have to be the Arcade Fire for me! But Bloc Party, Patrick Wolf and the Futureheads do come in as close tied-seconds. ;) It is difficult to choose a favourite concert, isn't it?

But for this year, musically speaking, I've to say The Last Shadow Puppets <3

Those little live moments really just make it sometimes, don't they?
