I also heard batman got arrested on a roof top recently and darth vader robbed a bank...but he got away....criminals are getting far more entertaining.

Nashville used to have a holiday bandit who dressed up around certain holidays dressed in costume that matched the holiday, like Santa Claus and such. He got killed in a gunfight with police on St Pat's Day dressed as a leprechaun.
