The next big Implosion?

We had the infamous DC Implosion of the 70's (though it affected more than DC at the time), the Black and White Boom & Bust of the 80's, and the 90's was the speculator Bust that crippled and divided Image, killed off Valiant, bankrupted Marvel, and led to a distribution monopoly for Diamond ( Read more... )

Miniscreen comics maybe? For the Iphone, Blackberry, etc. It will be like comic strips, but there will be sounds, music and a voice track (instead of word balloons) to go along with the art.

Of course, there's already Flash cartoons, but not everybody wants to watch Homestar Runner.

in Japan they say that phone comics are becoming big. If it catches on here that could change and alter the landscape of print books, but it would still be years off.
