It's probably just my own overzealous imagination as I have a soft spot for Pezberry. But if you go back Santana's little infatuation can be found from the very beginning and keeps being hinted at, implicitly. I enjoy it so I run with it. :D
I LOVE your reviews. They are so spot on. You always seem to nail each and every aspect that has to do with either Brittany or Santana. It's awesome. I love reading these. Espeically if you point out something that I missed , which is unlikely but still can happen. Or you make me rethink the scene because of something you said.
I cannot wait to see what you are going to write for the next episode because I have a feeling that it's going to be very centred around Brittany and where there's Brittany, Santana is usually there too. Should be a good one. :D
From what I've seen and from what I've heard it will at least be a lot better than this week, as a whole. It's gonna be tough to beat the perfection of this week's Brittana scene though, but I trust that they will at least try. :D
Oh I so agree. The Brittana scene in 3x02 was badass. It'll be difficult for them to top it but I think there is chance. Being that I read that Brittany and Santana are going to start dating in 3x04 so obviously something goes down. :P
i thought this freaking episode (and the previews for next week) were terrible. it's the same stuff over and over again with glee. we get that kurt is a flaming homo. we know brittany isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. yes, im pretty sure we all know quinn is miserable. we know that rachel doesn't know how to be a friend (and we know that everyone forgets she probably never had a friend in her entire life). for the love of god, could something actually happen on this show that matters?
That was more or less my initial response as well. They set so many things up for change with the premiere, now they're back to retelling the exact same stories they've spent two years on. I'm biased so I like that at least Brittany seemed to have grown a little at the end of the episode, but I fear that in a few episodes time they'll rehash the exact same fears and concerns with her as well. Fingers crossed that is simply my paranoia.
As always, I love your Brittana reviews, but this is the first time I disagree with you about the whole episode being boring. I love the Puck/Quinn/Beth/Shelby storyline, so that's a plus for me. And more Heather/Brittany on my screen is always a plus for me. I just love that girl, ok? I love that she's finally getting substantial development and to the poster 'meatisadelicacy', yeah we get it Britt is dumb, but I thought that she finally gets a well-deserved story arc and development
( ... )
I'm quite partial to Brittany myself, I just wish she'd gotten more than 3 minutes of screentime. Too little for me I'm afraid.
To begin with I was nodding approvingly at the Quinn/Shelby/Puck story, but at the end of the episode it just became clear there was no development on any of the characters. Quinn still lies and manipulates and does her darndest to destroy what is around her. Puck is still the same delinquent who desperately wants to rework his childhood through his own actions. And Shelby...well Shelby still seemed to mainly serve her own self-interests. I don't know, I was underwhelmed by the turn of events.
(nah, not so much hate Puck as I hate the fact that the show condones his behaviour. The kid is messed up and makes for a very interesting character, but the fact that they treat him and his misogyny as a romantic ideal bothers me quite a lot.)
I love how Santana supports and helps Brittany! One of the things that drew me to them was the scene where Santana corrects Brittany on which hand to raise in the first season.
Sounds like a boring episode, but going to have to find the Santana/Brittany scene to check it out. :)
That scene is one of my favourites as well. Yeah, this is what drew me in and this is what keeps me with them. They are literally helping each other to become more than they are as individuals. It's everything I personally think love should be about. And it is awesome. :D

:O I love you right now.
And I’m still convinced the reason behind that lingering gaze is part of the reason why Brittany dislikes Rachel so much.
WAT. I have never thought that before, but now I will never be able to un-think it. You're so perceptive!
