Wheeee, Joe has a blog! *reads avidly* Write more, you lazy knobber!

That's sad about your friend. There wasn't anything you could have done though. Some people are set on a destructive path and there are too many negative influences in their life for one positive one to make any difference. At least your friendship might have given him some respite from the more brutal aspects of his life, even if he didn't show it at the time.

It's always very odd hearing about old school friends, no matter what their life has turned out to be.

SF.

I know, well look what you've gone and made me do. I now have a LJ too. Darn. Well, I already had a (never written in) Blog, but it seems everyone is on livejournal these days. And I was fed up of being anonymous in my replies ^.^

First I apologise for posting here when you hardly know me. I just feel sorry for you and want to say something.

Well -- I don't want to sound too optimistic, I know how bad it is to be in prison for murder. If he was in prison for a fight, or drug dealing, or something like this, you would be less upset.

Yet, I want to say, that the purpose of prison is punishing people, so that they behave better when they are set free. In years, when he will be set free, maybe he will turn a new leaf and be a better man. Maybe he will remember he has been liked (by you) and be able to have some hope and positive energy, instead of murderous energy.

Was his trial made? is it sure he did murder someone? If he realy murdered someone,I hope he didn't do it on purpose. I hope it was an accident in a violent fight, and not a planned murder. I aslo hope the murdered person gave him good reasons to hate him and kill him.

as for Anthony, no he didn't actually commit murder, but i get the feeling that i'm probably a long way from his thoughts.

I know it is public, everyone can read, but perhaps everyone shouldn't post ...

It is terrible even though he didn't commit a murder. He particiapated only in the "early stages of the attack". I hope he didn't realise what his fellows were going to do. I'm sorry he was friend with a group of killers. And that this murder was done for money. They could have taken the money without killing the man. Injuring him would have been more than enough. That's just disgusting to be so cruel when it isn't necessarry.
