<3 This is not lame at all. In fact, I find it to be very pretty! I love how different each circumstance was every time they met, and yet there's still a sense of familiarity there between the two. Love how you worked that last bit into the ending as well :)

I like the idea that she was waiting for him to be born. The mental image of nations popping up like cabbage heads is so so...big!
