Ponderances of the Jim

Feb 17, 2005 18:04

I've noticed something as of late. People in general have their priorities askew. And not little things, like beating a video game over doing an essay, I mean massive things, like proving that they're smarter than everyone else at the expense of their friendships, or wallowing in their self-pity rather than doing something about it ( Read more... )

philosophy, ponderings, justice

Chief Jim, though it is true that most of the local tribesmen have little to complain about in material means, this is a far different matter than the troubles of the soul. For it is the soul that stops and starts all.

Consider, the relevance of Porthos or Aramis without Agamemnon or Achilles to play the advocates of evil, firstly. Without such grave examples of excess, Porthos and Aramis are... irrelevant.

Being that I was one who tore at the inside of his very soul screaming for release and acting... mopey, admittedly, I know that it was required. Without such excess of soul I could not have found my sleeping parts who were awakened by the clamour.

These may have been only ponderances, but they seemed edged, yet still, edged with reason. Humanity must commit atrocity to know the true depths of compassion. Without horror there is no harmony.

You should not reprimand people for their feelings. It is winter afterall, (is it still?), and winter is never a good time.

The Jim reacts to the monkeymind! The monkeymind went to The Jim for explanation, and The jim delivered unto the monkey parsimmons of more or less wisdom, a little bit of lies but what isn't? The point is, The Jim is raeacting to the confused monkeymind and has given an answer and, seeing fit to spread the oracle of The Jim, is broadcasting to us all.

What if The Jim is talking in generalizations about one man who swatted the monkey for being a monkey? Excess pitted against excess. because the monkey let his mind wander and got swatted, after all, by a man with strong mitts. Smack! monkeys aren't that bright. The Jim is spelling things out for the monkeys.

I'm gonna smack someone in the face!

Mwa ha ha ha.

Dear Jim,

You are a man that is like the man. This is not the man man, whom if you understand is a person of authority or some kind of mother figure... rather you are da man, as in urbonic speech... yes urban da man is the term I'm looking for.

My soul is tarnished, but I am strong. And I continue to eat as though each day was my last. ;)
... did I say that right?
