Insofar as the cyclical nature of existence goes, I think that, considering our particular outlook, it's a given. We die here in Miðgarðr, we arrive in Valhöll, Fólkvangr or Hel, we live there, we get summoned to Ragnarökr (save those in Fólkvangr who are, I think, destined to be the guardians of the retreat to Gimlé) and die there. In Valhöll, warriors fight, are slain and rise again. It's not possible to avoid cycles in the cosmology we adhere to.

The VF-1J has arguably the best head mounted laser look, even if it is not intended for aces.

I dunno, man, Maximilian Jenius/Max Sterling piloted a VF-1J. He was pretty badass and, arguably, the best pilot the SDF-1 had.
