Nurse's Station -- Wednesday 8:15am
Keith arrives early at the hospital to begin his shift. He notices a fresh bowl of jelly beans sitting on the counter and grabs a fistful as a nurse eyes him down. His mouth is full of the red ones, his favorite, when he mumbles.
"Hi! These are my favorite!"
The nurse smiles, nods, then walks away. Keith feels good today and that was a big change for him. Everything seems so much sunnier and happy. Keith is hoping to not see Elliot today and force a rain cloud into his forecast.
