New Years Eve, Jordan's car 10-ish
[[I wasn't sure if the New Years party thread was just an early thread or if we were doing New Years like we did, Christmas. In any case, I'm wired and want to thread so I'm starting this one xD]]
The party was nice, it really was, but as much as I loved Elliot, it was just a tad too uncomfortable to sit there and watch him eye JD like that. I decided to man-up, though, because standing next to me not ten seconds ago (before I threatened him) was a man who looked about as uncomfortable as I felt. Even so, he declined my first offer to drive my car, which was insanity and I don't spend my money on that type of insanity.
So I made him take my keys, because yes, I am letting someone into my driver's seat.
Then he bolted and I was left with my eyebrows raised. How was he running so fast with that bruise? I had to practically knead mine out for an hour afterward to keep myself from limping. Morgue didn't help with the circulation, either. I followed after waving my goodbyes, opened the door, and settled myself into the passenger's seat without moving the chair anywhere. My legs had room this way.
"I can't believe you told me no," I mutter, heaving the steel door shut and clicking on my seatbelt with a grin. "What the hell were you thinking?"
