This was what? The third viewing of Mickey Mouse's Christmas Carol? So then there's at least three more viewings to go before Jack moves on to something else. JD should be here before then. God, I hope so.
I spot Jordan narrowing her gaze on me. Probably caught me mocking the cartoon mouse. What? I have to keep my sanity somehow during this awkward and way too quick first attempt at family time. Well, it's Christmas Eve. Isn't that all about the awkward family moments? At least I am spared the trip to Jordan's mother's this year...
I shrug my shoulders at her glance at me, before bending down to plug in the plastic tree I had managed to construct last night while I watched the kids. I have to climb over piles of presents--so I went a little overboard to compensate--to get to the outlet.
