This is very pretty. The green is so bright, and I love the benevolent figure made of leaves at the back, and how nature is both a part of Merlin and crown him. Also, great antlers and nice details of vines wrapping around them.

The Green Man in the background was kind of a last minute addition that turned out great, since I didn't want it to be just plain green and thought 'hey, let's tie this thing to the actual fucking myth that inspired it!'

Oh, and I totally stole the leaf crown off you, I hope you don't mind.

Love it - the coloring is gorgeous, the reimagining of him in such detail is wonderful, and it's totally awesome how you've emphasized the uniqueness of his appearance.
