I think the painted look comes from the photoshopping. It's not excessive, thankfully but it tends to eliminate skin texture and pores and gives pictures a more slick surface.

I don't know about the A/K situation. I'm on a fence. On the one hand, 96% of people telling CBS they want Alicia to forgive should get them to reconsider this whole mess and stat. On the other hand, that could be interpreted in some of their sick heads as a wedge for never ending drama only to be solved/forwarded in May for the sweeps.

And some of Julianna's latest declarations on Kalinda have been... I don't know... a little hateful. If she doesn't want it to happen, it won't happen.

But in the meantime, we get to gaze at those lovely pics. And I'm not saying that because Leather Skirt is back!

There's no way they didn't stitch that shirt around her, is there? :D

gah! OMG, why would she be hateful about Kalinda?! *pouts* Damn it, writers! Damn it actors! Why do you never lean towards the happy for my pairings?! *POUTS*
And yes, I can see having the wedge as a major drama creating monster.

and yes about the photoshopping, but omg, usually I'm pretty oblivious and can't particularly tell, but if even I noticed it this time... hm... probably hire a new photoshopper...

I don't know. I keep getting this vibe like she wants to "see other people", you know? lol

And I think the photoshopping isn't the worst I've seen but I guess the low quality of the pictures here doesn't help the issue. If they were HQ and not LQ, maybe the difference wouldn't show as much.

Hey, I'm willing to help them out if they need someone. I'd work for free as long as I can get my hands on the whole shoot :D

Re: JM's "hateful" comments...I seem to be all Disney-eyed and talking you down alot - lol - but I honestly think JM is just channeling where Alica as a character is now. Alicia's still mad and bitter and it would make no sense for the actress to kill the "suspense" of whether that relationship can be salvaged by revealing things are def going to be peaches and cream for them. She can't reveal the end of the arc before the new season even begins, ya know?

Have faith. The Kings have made mis-steps, but they just can't be that blinkered and stoopid. I'm actually looking forward to them earning each other's friendship this time round...

And if my pie-in-the-sky words aren't enuf, just revisit this moment to re-assure yourself...JM doesn't look like a hater. ;) :http

And I'm sure Jules loves Archie. I'm just not so sure about Kalinda. She did call her a caricature lol
We'll see. Anyway, I'm looking at old A/K scenes from Season 1 for a Survivor Game and being all nostalgic. Good times :D

Frak me! HOT! How does she make whatever she's wearing completely professional and empowering? If I were to tell someone I'm wearing thigh high boots and a short leather skirt, they'd probably think I'm going bonkers and was trying to channel Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.

Heh Dan Lawson talked about the new boots. I can see why now. I don't know how she does it. She doesn't even have to talk to give off that "don't piss me off" vibe. It's all in the attitude but damn, any other woman on tv wearing this would look like a cheap whore. :D
