*psst* Um, I've only ever heard them called boots of justice like once. Is it just me or are they making shit up? 'Sides, they are more boots of badass/kickass/etc. which just HAPPEN to coincide with justice. XP

While Kalinda is aloof and unapproachable, Panjabi is warm and friendly. She smiles a lot and giggles. She poses for photographs.
Damn, I wish I could have seen her give that uni talk. She's just too adorable! And I love that she actually pays attention to her character. My sis swears that the True Blood cast know shit about their characters...

People often say they wish they had a friend like that because they’d feel protected by her. I know a certain lawyer who certainly feels protected around her!

I'd read in an interview that Archie herself called them the Boots of Justice - so I started to, as well (ya know, "Archie approved") lol (Don't ask me where I read it tho...)

Yep it was Archie who spread the word. It's the hair and makeup department who call them that. I guess it was a running joke when she showed up in costume for her hair and makeup time to make comments about the boots.

I both think the comment itself is hilarious (the boots possess her!), and that that is one of the most awkward forcing in of random bio info in an interview that I have ever seen! :D Why didn't they include her favorite color?

Hey, I thought her hubby was a tailor. I mean, technically, that is a "businessman", but I always thought it was so cool that he was a tailor - hate if it wasn't so (I know, I'm weird. I appreciate hand made clothing...)

I'm also unaccountably tickled that she mentioned Cagney and Lacey.

And thank God, Matt C. encouraged her to just go for it and play Kalinda how she wanted. It's strange and endearing that she was so nervous...

And yes that was hilarious editing to that interview. A lot of the yakety-yak in between replies was random.

I find it ever entertaining to read Archie's tv references. It goes from Dallas to Cagney and Lacey and spread mostly over half the shows in the 70ies and early 80ies. Not sure she watched tv after that. lol
