Social networking sites, writing vs. journaling

So I went through and deleted all of my friends who hadn't posted in the last year or so on here, and I went from having 150-ish friends to 47. And many of those only posted once or twice over the last year. And a few of them didn't even post over the past year, I just couldn't bring myself to delete them

I agree with you on the difference between Journalling and Writing... :)

I miss lj, no one posts here at all any more. And no one actually uses the blog feature of myspace or the note feature of facebook to actually post their life updates. Instead it's random, useless blurbs in 144 charaters or less.

I miss connection, I miss my friends (in person, too!).
