Genting Day 2 / K.L. Part 1
Wanted to have dimsum breakfast at Ah Yi Abalone restaurant like our previous trip, but they only open at 11am on weekdays :(
Considering our departure at 12pm (to KL), it was not possible.

A little more dressed up for the cool morning!

sweater top: Bershka (HK)
wool shorts:twistpolka
brown sling: H&M (HK)
shoes: Melissa

I love high waisted shorts and the best thing is - this pair is black and made of furry wool material!
I've been on a lookout for these shorts for some time since they are perfect for pairing with knits and for winter.
Comes with complimentary suede brown belt and attached inner lining :>
I'm wearing M which is slightly loose on me (fits UK 8-10) so I'm asking for an exchange in size S when she restocks.

Owner might be opening backorders/restocking this pair of shorts, currently out of stock,
so leave down your email address here if keen.
Other than that, lookout for the many cardigans and throwovers launched which are perfect for e end of year!

Had breakfast at a Chinese restaurant at the atrium of First World Plaza.

A simple fare while reading the local Star papers)

I spotted Hello Kitty Debit Card by Hong Leong Bank!
Erm, it's undeniably quite cute... It'll be a hot item if it releases in SG.

Genting's version of Eiffel Tower.

It was foggy that morning, though the same temperature as the day before (19degrees), but it's kinda fun walking through the fog.

HOHOHO, good luck to those who purchased that day's theme park tickets!

Packed and checked out, was a breeze with the express checking out!
Boarded our coach to KL with only 4 pax :p

Bought Popteen- Taiwan ver. (translated to Chinese)
I'm amazed at how the japanese and taiwanese do their makeup, as featured in the magazine.
They look so different before and after... that's really scary because you don't know what they look like without (makeup).
On the other hand, I do agree that if you're not lazy, most girls can look pretty with efforts of making up too!

Bad, bad jam at KL, it took us 2 hours (supposedly one hour could have brought us there).

The above Swiss Garden hotel looks pretty good too!

Arrived at Berjaya Times Square Hotel
Decided to stay here since it has a mega mall (with retail shops, entertainment venues and etc) and next to a subway!

massive queue at the East wing.

There are 2 wings - East and West Wing of the mall,
and hotel occupies the East and West end of the mall.
Most guests checks into rooms in East Wing and I read west wing rooms are only for VIP or long term staying guests.

At 51 sq meters, the studio suite is great for the 2 of us.
I'm also pretty lucky to get the suite at a high floor :D

Living Area

Kitchen, thats if you bring portable electronic stove.

Bedroom

2 Wardrobes

Bathroom

I should have taken my video in landscape (instead of portrait) so when I tweaked it, the size of the video is not proportionate to what I have to show. Also, it's slightly jerky.. :(

Visited the pool and chillax!

Showered and went to visit the mall, which I heard alot about!

Neverending directory......
I guess I'll never be able to visit all the stores in the mall in even if I was given two full days.

First store to catch our eye - Krispy Kreme!!!
This is everywhere... in BKK, HK and in KL, but nowhere to be found in SG :(

After having both the original glazed and their flavored donuts,
I would think the original remains the best choice!

I like dunkin's flavored donuts better.

There were 3 levels dedicated to retail stores and 70% of these are fashion stores.

Most of the clothes were retailing between S$12 to S$18, which is pretty affordable!
Clusters of these fashion malls remind me of new Platinium mall in Bangkok, but more spacious.
They also sell in bulk to businesses... actually it's quite queer to think about it, since Times Square is supposedly the higher end mall than malls like Sungei Wang?

Was down on my luck - my dress loosen all of the sudden and fortunately,
i found a maxi dress so I bought and changed!

Entertainment are on the upper floors - Cinemas, Bowling, Archery, etc.
Can't wait for Happy Feet 2! :D

An indoor theme park!

This roller coaster goes 360 degrees and has a few dips ... that's kinda freaky.

Grabbed our starbucks before we ventured out!

I had their Christmas Special raspberry, white chocolate mocha frap which was so sweet, I couldn't finish it :Z
However, we've gotten a free christmas edition starbucks card, isn't it sweet?? :p
Since we registered the card under JS' name, we got to redeem a free grande drink the next day, with a purchase of a drink!
Sweet, sweet deals!

Anyway, I wished I could post more but we only had half a day left at KL, so we took a subway to Chinatown (Petaling Street), which I will cover the next entry!

Adios!
