I know it must be like, "Idol Hands, geez you keep makin' icons!" But I can't help it! I find so many things inspirational and these images in particular was just plain beautiful, and of course, it's the right time of year for it!
I thoroughly enjoy enjoy seeing which ones caught your fancy, since my tastes are broad and thought also goes into what others might like outside of my own preferences. Of course this is all for fun, however I was raised with the, "If you're going to do something..." mentality.
I could say the exact same thing about you. Having anyone put up with my nonsense and even more, appreciate the odd way that I look at things, as well as care a wit about myself, is the best gift in life that there is. Thank you and I only wish that I could do more.
First, #8. To be honest, I had a pullover with a pattern similar to this one when I was a child, I swear. And #99. I love the contrast but also the out of focus. It's something which fascinates me without any reason in photography and cinema. It's such a great theme for Winter and Christmas. :) Thank you, and will credit, naturally.
(Well, nothing to do with snowflakes, winter, Christmas, cold, science, etc, but for "Is It Scary". I didn't abandon it, but well, if you have one specific part in your story you really like, tell me and I'll try to do something with it. Or I'll concentrate on the first Chapter, first Volume. ;) )
He, he. I never expected to read that, but I can see it now in my mind's eye. I bet you were adorable.
I know what you mean about that and I only subtly enhanced the photograph in respect. My guess is that it creates a magical and memory-like effect.
Ach, it's really hard for me to think of that, although it's a fair question. I always like seeing what grabs the reader's mind -- despite the distinct images that lay in my own -- it's rather like unwrapping a gift. The first one would be really nice though, because it's something that I really ought to get back to. ;)
Sorry, but I called it "Snowflake - Pullover". I know, sometimes, I just say stupid things and I don't try not to say it because it needs an explanation and... it's a nice anecdote.
Oh, yes, magical but also mystery. You don't really know what's behind, in the far distance, you just can guess. For example, last time, in class, we had a photograph with soldiers and you could see distinctively only one of them, the others were in the out of focus. They are soldiers as well, you can recognize them, but you can't see their faces. You wonder what they are thinking, their look... It's fascinating.
Well, then I'll concentrate on the first chapter. But as you realized with the "pullover", my imagination can be... wild... but I'll try to stop it a little. Well, for the stupid ideas at least (but Wonka performing a little dance is so... tempting). You wanted to get back to the first one? You made me curious now.
Hi lady!!!!! How are things with you? These are gorgeous! I snagged LOTS of them and will certainly credit! *glomps*
What have you been up to recently? I've been out of touch because I'm running around crazy with this second job at the bookstore. I'm completely non-verbal by the time I get home. LOL
Oh, and I wanted to tell you how much I LOVE that you use your screenname in the file names....it makes my life so much easier, since I have a bad habit of not renaming immediately and then having to go search for who made which icon.
Let's hear it for being a complete nutter!theidolhandsDecember 23 2009, 02:57:13 UTC
People have this very funny habit of assuming my gender, but I really don't mind what I'm referred to as. *smiles* I'm a tad drunk, atm. ;) I certainly don't ever take anything as an insult.
I've been up to having a good time and trying to make peace with myself; I enjoy this hoiday season and good friends make it even nicer. You're kind to offer an explanation, I do enjoy your company when you can offer it and most certainly understand your predicament!
*glomps back*
Thank you for saying that, it is an extra step and while it would be unseemly to complain (to my mind), the entire process is time-consuming. Thank you so much for stopping by and finding time to offer positive feedback.
Believe it or not, I'm working on a second batch, just can't keep my nerdly appreciations to small batches it seems. Then I'll be up to proper pimping of this post. *jazzing to Christmas music*

*snort* Yup, my bad. Sorry about assuming. I'm usually much more careful about things like that. In fact, it's something I would warn my students about. *grovels*
So, you have a warm Xmas yeah? Didn't you tell me you live in Oz? Regardless, I'm glad you're working on lovely Xmassy stuff for all us nutters out here in Interwebz land! I'm already looking forward to batch #2
*glomps* *offers hot chocolate and gluten free cookies* Thank you so much for sharing your "nerdly appreciations" with the rest of us :)
I finally figured out how to do it and there was a certain dynamic of subjects that seemed unexplored despite my personal passion for them. Also, it's fun! when it's not driving me crazy.

I don't know how to not source so many pics or not be a perfectionist.
Nonsense, it's nothing but a frustrating burden without people like yourself who appreciate the view. ;)
