All icons are made from real images of Michael Jackson's Neverland estate. I worked to preserve that sense of magic, sparkle, and mystery. Many of the artifacts & rides were modeled after or custom-made by the creations and creators of the original DisneylandCountless sick children were taken to enjoy the popstar's playground paradise free of ( Read more... )

It breaks my heart that they tore it away from him, at the same time that I can't help admiring all the efforts.

When in doubt, create!

Marlon Brando was known to be personally chauffeured around by Mr. Jackson, in decorated golf-carts, to cheer up the aged actor.

I didn't know that! [Where'd you hear/read that?] That is heartbreakingly sweet. Oh, and your icons are loveliness.

From Miko Brando, an interview not too long ago, there should be live footage of it even. I also knew that Michael spoke to him on the phone all the time.

I would honestly fill this entire page to the letter maximum if I listed every amazingly generous thing that I've read or heard about Michael doing. It was overwhelming when I was researching him.

I'd intended to reply to this [like, a month ago, lol] and forgot, until I was cleaning out my inbox today. Regarding Michael's amazing generosity, one of the loveliest instances of that was divulged by Tom Mesereau after the trial [in his interview with Larry King]. If you recall, Mr. Mesereau's sister died, of cancer, during the trial. He said that Michael sent her the most beautiful, largest, bouquet of flowers and wrote a poem for her [from him and his children]. "It was one of the most meaningful and most wonderful things that he could have done for her during her final days." Considering that Michael was going through the worst time of his life, then, the thoughtfulness and compassion of that gesture is just... enough to make your heart swell.

That's quite alright. theidolhands December 4 2009, 14:58:23 UTC
It was pleasant to be reminded of this exchange and add yet one more amazing thing. There isn't a day that I don't wish he was still here.

I truly appreciate you saying that and looking.

Your icon is probably my favorite moment from the film.
