he's freaking amazing. quite possibly one of my favorte contemporaries. it's actually a book emily left here before she went to london. in one poem, he talks about the sunset looking like a fever, and says, "someone should get the aspirin," and my jaw just dropped.
I really like him a lot too. Do you have the "What Narcissim Means to Me?" book? We read that in my first writing class and from then on, I was hooked. He was the first poet I read that was contemporary and his poetry completely changed the way I saw, like, the world.
