Challenge #21 : [bonus challenge] Texture Battles #1
We're going to do something a bit different for this theme challenge. Instead of icons, we're asking you to try your hand at making textures. Never made textures before? Never fear. Here are a couple of tutorials to help you get started by brutal and by fuuurs.
Battle 1: Prompt Pairs
You must make a texture that follows each of the following prompt pairs:
frame + black & white ~~ paint + red ~~ shapes + bright colors ~~ light + diagonal ~~ muted + grunge
Battle 2: Color Palette
Each texture in your set must correspond to a different color of the palette below

Battle 3: Provided Images
All your textures must be made from one or more of the images below (all from freeimages.com)
X - Textures should be made for this challenge, and cannot be submitted for points elsewhere
X - Textures should follow the theme of the challenge - I reserve the right to refuse you points if you do not follow the theme
X - To enter a battle, you must make 5 textures following its theme (no more and no less)
X - Textures are worth 5 points & you can earn up to 50 points (10 textures/2 battles).
X - Submit as a reply to the appropriate comment (note: I'm currently traveling and this post is a scheduled post. It may be a bit before the threads are posted, so sit tight!)
X - Icons are due at midnight your time on September 20
