Title: A gun is not discursive Words: 9182 Warning(s): Off-screen murder. Summary: Arthur deals with his unrequited love by making a hitlist. Eames finds out. A continuation of this drabble written for ae_ldws. Betas: lezzerlee & gollumgollum
EEE! I'm so glad this is finally posted! I love this concept, of Arthur quietly looking out for Eames with no expectation of anything in return. I love how Arthur is still a little shy about his feelings, while kind of not being Shy. I love the process Eames went through figuring out that he wanted Arthur.
My favorite bit is still how Eames is messing with Arthur's stuff, getting under his skin while he isn't even there, and making himself at home in Arthur's place. Then I love him figuring out that it's not just a safe house.
thanks to you! honestly this just would have rotted away in my gdocs without your assistance. & thank you so much for your kindnesses ; ; i'm so glad you enjoyed this.
and yes that's also my favorite part haha, it was the funnest part to write :)
again a million thanks, bb, you are the best ♥ ♥ ♥
I loved how Eames had to reconcile his disdain for Arthur's actions with his feelings for Arthur and how conflicted he was at first. The story had a wonderfully slow burn that was very refreshing and delightful.
I love that you made Arthur this dark and morally off person, yet still made him a character worthy of being loved. He was who he was and Eames still found value in that.
Idek what I'm saying anymore, but the bottom line is. I LOVED IT AND I LOVE YOU!
ahhh thank you so much tonya! i'm so happy you took the time to read this & then that you liked it! that means so much to me :>
I love that you made Arthur this dark and morally off person, yet still made him a character worthy of being loved. <-- this was truly a challenge! i was afraid readers would not bother with an arthur with lots of blood on his hands, but i think maybe eames working through it all became a vehicle for them working through it as well, perhaps? as much as fiction requires, anyway! i do not recommend this irl. .__.
i don't know what i'm saying either wahh just thank you so much i'm so happy eeee \o/ *snuggles you tight* you're the best bb! ♥ ♥
