During today's meeting over eighty-five stood up and shared.

What then, brothers? Whenever you come together, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.-1 Cor. 14:26

Awesome. How long did it take? How long was the average "share?" What percentage of the total attendance did the 85 represent?

Let's see: our prophesying meeting started at about 11:15am and lasted until about 12:15. The saints spoke for anywhere between one sentence and about 2 minutes, but the average sharing was about 40 seconds. :)

After the Lord's Supper (9:45am until 11:15) we typically split up into separate English, Spanish and Chinese prophesying meetings (except for the first Sunday of the month, during which we provide translation). So technically, more than 85 total shared but I wasn't in the Spanish and Chinese meetings to count personally them.

There where over 100 attending the English-speaking meeting (many other brothers and sisters who normally attend were traveling or serving in the children's meetings). Everyone who did not get to share before the time ran out was given the opportunity to stand up and just read something together. :)

Most excellent. The Saints of the East Coast are much longer-winded. So when we open up things here, we have to be prepared for multiple sermonettes!
