Friends only

For various reasons, I've decided to move this journal entirely to the "friends only" category. In the past, I haven't cared too deeply about privacy on livejournal because I didn't think it likely that I had much readership outside my circle of friends anyway. You've inspired me. Except that instead of making mine friends only I've been going through and deleting all of the embarrassing angsty entries from when I was 16. Can you believe I have had livejournal for 7 years? WTF!

How's the life-decision-making going? I hear it's either Oregon or Colorado. Are you gunning for one over the other? Exciting times.

It'll be interesting to see what role things like livejournal will play as our generation matures. Is it that we'll never grow up, or that we'll redefine the kinds of things grown-ups do? Facebook at age 50? :/ Sounds creepy, but who knows.

I'm not gunning for any particular school yet. I was giving Portland some preference for Lizzy's sake, but lately she's been saying that there are more job opportunities in Denver. Plus living expenses are a lot cheaper there.

Oh, I think you'll probably find plenty of material. You know full well how scandal-prone my time at Earlham was. :)

(actually, come to think of it, just going to Earlham in the first place would probably be an issue in the current political climate. "You studied at a left wing radical Quaker madrassa?")
