Violet Holmes is hardly superstitious and so the old adage that the groom should not see the wedding dress until the day of the wedding goes ignored after she gets home with the big, white garment bag. She locates images of the gown from the designer's website and saves them to her mobile before she sends a multimedia message:

He can't help but smile at the photos. They are in no way traditional and it doesn't bother him to see her gown before the day.

She didn't suppose it would bother him to get a sneak-peek of the gown; it's so much easier than keeping it secret until whenever they decide the moment is right for elopement.

Thought you'd like a peek before the actual day so you'd have an idea what you would be standing next to.

It's different from what she had set out for, but ultimately so much better. It's traditional, but not so much so that she could be mistaken for just another bride - simply enough to satisfy the part of her that dreamed of a white dress and a cathedral.
