... our memories will live on through others.

[he hums softly to himself, as if satisfied with something, but he doesn't elaborate. Still, the connection remains open, and after a bit of silence, he adds softly]

But don't be afraid to really live.

No, go ahead, you can ask.

I suppose I'm just thinking about things. Put up a fight for the people I care about.

Siblings, you said? There is no simple answer. Every family is different.

Mine's all sorts of different.

Ah, well. See, the thing is my sibling is older - I think - than me. And for most of our lives we were... completely separated and then enemies for a bit, not knowing we were... related. [yeah, he's totally rambling now. Very awkward conversation.]

Okay, it's just that a lot went down but now we're both here in Manhattan and trying to patch up our relationship, but we don't know how siblings should behave.

Siblings?

They're usually are the pain in the asses you really wish you didn't have to deal with and drive you insane while laughing at your misery but at the end of the day you love them anyway for just being them.

Siblings can follow you around like a lost puppy, tug on your sleeve when you're trying to study, and wake you up in the middle of the night wanting a glass of water. They're really annoying.

I'm kidding. My brother happens to be the best research partner I could ever ask for.

I can assure you neither of us has ever done any of these things to the other.

Unless you count showing up at my doorstep halfway across the world to confront me over my machinations on Gaia to be 'following like a lost puppy'...

Yeah, that sounds like pretty much the same thing.
