POSTING GUIDELINES
Have a perfect idea you'd like to post at this comm? Here's some guidelines on what kind of content we're looking for...
POSTING GUIDELINES:
1) Your content should include the brothers as the main focus of your fanwork. You're welcome to include other characters as long as that main focus is maintained.
2) Your contribution MUST be original. If your content is a rec post, it can of course link older content, but the rec post itself should be original. This is not a place for pimping your own past work nor is it simply another place to crosspost. However if you do have something you've been working on you've yet to post and you think would fit in our theme here, you're more than welcome to post it. For fic, we will not be accepting WIPs or sequels to prior works. Your contribution should be completed stories that can stand on their own.
3) We'd like the content to have some sort of relation to canon since we're celebrating the history of the Winchesters canon. If you want to write fic for the comm, anything that has a canon jumpoff point (codas/tags, fill-in-the-blanks, AU after a certain episode) or is inspired by canon, would be considered relevant. This applies as well to the equivalent in art or anything recced. Vids, meta, picspam, graphics, gifs, are all by their nature canon-based, but if you have a question, feel free to PM one of the mods!
4) All posts MUST follow the posting template. Visual examples are listed by medium with a html code, so simply find your medium there, copy the code, and insert your info to make your in-comm post for your content.
5) Your content can include gen, het, or slash. We'd like all types of brother fans to be welcome here, so please just mark accordingly in your title/description.
6) If your content includes any adult material, it must be clearly labeled (NSFW for art; R/NC-17 for fic) and placed behind a cut or link. The tags for an lj cut are < lj-cut > < /lj-cut > (without the spaces).
7) PLEASE make sure you have a title to your posts that includes what medium your post is, your title/topic, characters/pairing, and rating if necessary. i.e "VID: 'Time After Time' [Sam&Dean, gen, PG]". This title will guarantee your post gets added to memories or tagged correctly by our mods.
