Hello, Cruel World is a goldmine for brotherly moments. ♥ I think the warehouse scene is the most meaningful moment between the brothers since the graveyard scene in Swan Song. So yeah, I would have to name it as my favourite brotherly moment as well.
The runners-up are: a) Dean bringing Sam 'breakfast in bed' and tending to Sam's injured hand ♥ b) Dean crawling towards an unconscious Sam, telling him that this time Sam needs to carry him (so much double meaning in that one little statement)
And even though it's not directly a brotherly moment - the fact that Sam hallucinates Lucifer as Dean several times just tells us a lot about Sam's feelings for Dean. I mean, all the things Lucifer does and says to Sam are so much more hurtful when they come from Dean instead of Lucifer, and of course Dean is the only one Sam would trust enough to go with him, no question asked. It really makes me wonder often Lucifer turned into Dean while Sam was in the cage in order to exploit Sam's feelings for Dean for torture. :(

Oh that is so right. I still haven't figured out how those hallucinations worked. I have to assume it was all in Sam's mind (I did often wonder if it was actually Lucifer at times), so it was him imagining Dean in Lucifer's form. So yeah... one has to wonder how Lucifer became Dean in order to torture Sam. A lot I think.

This episode really was a goldmine for brotherly love moments - I legit teared up during the warehouse scene, Dean's pleading face, reminding Sam who they are to each other. And again at the end, Dean pleading with Sam to be okay because he needed him - in so many words, that's what he said, and it was so clear that's what he *meant* too.
I might have shouted at the tv 'straight out of fanfic' during the wound tending scene. :)

Hee! I was thinking fanfic also! we don't get nearly enough wound tending scenes. I also loved the scene in the ambulance. I remember thinking fanfic there also... <33
He was so so troubled. How terrifying to think he had hallucinated that whole trip to the warehouse. Dean bringing him back is so powerful. Sam's trust in Dean won out - as did Dean's love for Sam. <33
This whole episode is full of great brotherly moments. The two above, the resouled hug, and In My Time of Dying are the top of my list for all the seasons. Dean's whole message to Bobby about strapping his "beautiful mind brother" into the car with him and driving of a cliff, while horrific to think about, gives an idea of how interdependent they are. Dean's panic for Sam in the ambulance, too.
Oh yes... the "beautiful mind brother" moment was awesome (hee...when I first watched it I thought he said "my beautiful brother"...I nearly fell off my chair!)
I LOVED the ambulance scene!! Erm....I may have watched that scene quite a few times since. ;)
