Ahaha, well. We live in a valley, so we're completely surrounded by fires. They're trying to smoke us out, Jim! One was raging in Canyon Country, one in Malibu, one near Stevenson's Ranch... so we're pretty much stuck right now.

Pretty much, yeah. This is my first year in California... I'm oddly not fazed by it at all? I don't know, disasters happen. There isn't much you can do but move on forward. My house hasn't burned down yet, so!

That's the same way I look at this kind of stuff. It just seems like CA has a lot of natural disasters, we go from wildfires to earthquakes to landslides, but I guess we're just really good at rolling with the punches.

One of my friends is still in good shape, though the fire is only 15 minutes away. It's pretty much stuck behind the resevoir at the moment, which is where the one about two years ago stopped.
