good shit! i would be all over this. hopefully they'll be out here in a couple months. they've only announced january dates so far, but they seem to be on their way west.
have you listened to anything by the Omar Rodriguez-Lopez Quintet? i'm trying to find some of their shit (anything) for download, let me know if you come across anything. they released an album called "Omar Rodriguez" & an EP called "Heat this Eventually." supposed to be badass. features keyboard Money Mark of B-Boys fame & (on the EP) Damo Suzuki from Can (who i have been listening to lately).

I actually found the self-titled album in Tunes this summer. It's still a solid album with a lot of sweet guitar riffs but it's not quite at the level of the Volta albums (new album due in January, i think).
Have you heard of "The Good, The Bad, And The Queen"?? It's the new side project by Damon Albarn that had members from The Clash and The Verve. I just downloaded the album and am not sure what I think just yet.
