I saw the last 20 minutes of an episode in which someone blew up Beckett's apartment right as she got out of the shower. I'm kinda interested in watching now.

Give me a rundown - what happened in the finale?

See, I was upset too, but the more I think about it the more I get what happened!

This was all Beckett's fault. She's the one that was dating someone else, she's the one that keep pushing him away, and she's the one that told him that she was going to be working, and he caught her in a lie while she was actually going to go away with Demming. So I really don't blame him for doing something like that.

Yes, it broke my heart, but she was too late this time!

Even though what happened, she still wants him in her life, because she was the first one to say "See you in the fall"

I think I will go grab a few tissues now!

Wasn't it just painful? I can't deny I wish they had gotten together in this episode, because I'm sick of shows throwing in cliched reasons to keep couples apart, but it was still beautiful in a way.

Oh man, I so hear you! I'm tired of the long, drawn out relationship as well. Maybe because I was such an X-Phile before, and now I have Bones...I am almost burned out on all of the UST! I was actually surprised when I watched the episode because I thought that we might actually see something we NEVER see in a second season - the two leads getting together!

It was really beautiful, like you said. I felt that Beckett's character really grew in that moment. The sadest part was that she broke it off with Demming and was ready to go for Castle. But he was licking his own wounds by then. So sad...

EXACTLY. The UST, keep-them-apart-for-as-long-as-possible thing, has been done to death. We've had it, it's a little old. The original thing for a show to do now is to get characters together! Not instantly of course, as the tension has to grow, but I get worried when they start throwing in love triangles and so on...

Oh it was so sad. She actually was going to make a move! I was half hoping she'd demonstrate her 'move' by just kissing him, then at least we'd have something to keep us going over the summer... LOL.
