I'm pleasantly surprised at the number of hugs Steve has had with numerous people (especially Danny) this season, and over the course of the show. Usually military men on TV are quite standoffish and a nohugzone.

Yes! In the pilot Steve seemed to be written that way, but over time he has loosened up and is really quite affectionate. I like to think it's Danny's influence on him. :D
