I have to say, that scene where Steve stretches himself out on top of Cath when they're on the couch? That worked for me on a number of levels, starting with "long and lean" and going from there...

I think Danny is very effective at cockblocking Steve! Also, that last scene where he just snuggled into Steve's shoulder...*happy sigh* The fact that Steve was more invested in snuggling with his Danno than kissing Catherine pleased my slashy heart to no end. Now I kind of want first time fic where Danno finds himself constantly jealously cockblocking Steve and to his chagrin everyone realizes it but him! LOL

Loved Danny showing up at inopportune moments, hee! And Steve's grumpy little face. :D And that was a fabulous snuggle, very casual and oh, we do this all the time, don't we?

I loved Catherine's pleased little smirk at the very end, as the credits slid across the screen! That really should launch a thousand ship fics :D SUCH a lovely episode, despite the organs in jars!

Of course she ships them:) And I bet Danny loved The Notebook, and that he and Catherine were the only ones still awake when it ended, and they both had red eyes, and Danno took Grace, carefully, because he had to wriggle out from under Steve's arm without waking him up, and snuck out to the car with her, and Catherine managed to get Steve half-way up the stairs simply by slinging his arm over her shoulder and holding him by the waist (because she's just utterly awesome that way) and she couldn't stop herself laughing helplessly when Steve woke up on the sixth stair and said blearily "Where'd Danno go?"

That little vignette, right there, is my totally Happy Place! \o/ Because that is EXACTLY what happened.

And the next day Catherine catches Steve on the couch with The Notebook playing, because he missed the ending, and he's just curious, okay?
